Melyoga | Logo and Art direction
Brief: For this project a freelance client asked me to illustrate a logo for her local yoga business offering online and in-person classes. As an extension of this project I then did all the brand photography for the website.
Outcome: ‘Mel’ derives from the Latin ‘honey’, hence the logo’s honeybee. The honeybee will drink a flower’s nectar and in doing so transfer the pollen it has previously collected from other flowers, this fertilises the different plants it visits. In this was the honeybee logo symbolises that having a consistent yoga practice will support you in being present and kind towards yourself, and also allow you to bring joy to those around you.
